The Tour du Chambeyron is a major alpine traverse of 69.8 km across the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. This 4 to 5-day trek offers total immersion in the varied landscapes of the Southern Alps, with a cumulative elevation gain of 4,838 meters and a maximum altitude of 3,116 meters. Throughout this route, you will discover dense forests, crystalline alpine lakes, imposing rocky summits, and spectacular cliffs. The successive valleys offer changing perspectives on this authentic mountainous region, while you will also explore caves and remarkable geological formations.
