The Regio Tratturo Magno is a 267.6 km hiking route crossing three Italian regions: Abruzzo, Molise, and Puglia. This historic trail follows one of the great tratturi, those ancient transhumance paths used to move herds between mountain pastures and coastal plains. The route passes through varied landscapes documented along the itinerary: valleys, forests, vineyards, cliffs, ridges, lakes, coastal areas, and beaches. The maximum altitude reached is 936 metres, with a total positive elevation gain of 3,628 metres. A trek that offers full immersion in the rural and natural territories of central-southern Italy.
