The Annapurna Circuit is one of the most famous treks in the world, set in the heart of the Annapurna range in Nepal. This high-altitude route crosses deep valleys, traditional villages, and spectacular Himalayan landscapes, including the crossing of the famous Thorong La pass at 5,416 metres above sea level. Completable in 10 to 20 days depending on the chosen itinerary, it offers a unique immersion in Nepali culture and exceptional panoramas of summits over 8,000 metres. How to get there
Public transport
Limited accessThe Annapurna Circuit is accessible by public transport from Kathmandu. Trekkers generally take a bus to Besisahar, the historic starting point of the trek, and sometimes continue to Chame by shared jeep. At the end of the route, buses connect Nayapul or Jomsom to Pokhara, and then Pokhara to Kathmandu.
